JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - In a story March 14, The Associated Press reported that a bill signed by Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant would require operators of fantasy sports contests to verify that participants in the contests are at least 21. The story should have specified that participants in casinos must be at least 21, while participants in online contests must be at least 18. The story also should have made clear that the bill refers to “entry fees,” rather than bets, for participants in the contests.
