ROME, N.Y. (AP) - Military cargo planes will be flying around Griffiss International Airport in central New York this week.
The U.S. Air Force will be conducting training flights of C-17 cargo planes Monday through Thursday, almost all of it in the mornings.
Local officials say the massive planes will be taking different approaches to the airport in Rome. And they apologize for any inconvenience nearby residents might experience due to the increased flight activity.
