SUGARCREEK TOWNSHIP, Ohio (AP) - Police say the body of a 27-year-old woman has been recovered after her car crashed and went into a retention pond in Sugarcreek Township.

Authorities say Samantha Botts, of Sugarcreek Township, died Friday following the 4:45 p.m. accident. They say her car veered off the road and struck a fire hydrant before going into the pond. She was the only occupant.
