CONCORD, Calif. (AP) - A student was arrested and expelled from a Northern California high school after he allegedly recorded and distributed on social media nude images of the school’s executive director.
San Jose television station KNTV reports (https://bit.ly/2mrjCRe) the 17-year-old student at Clayton Valley Charter High School in Concord was expelled Monday, and several other students were suspended for sharing the images of administrator David Linzey on Snapchat.
The Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office says in a statement the student apparently made the recording with a cellphone in the locker room of a fitness center near the school. The boy was arrested on suspicion of invasion of privacy and released to his parents.
The school says it takes disciplinary issues seriously and it doesn’t comment publicly on matters related to their students.
