LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) - A Farmington man has been arrested for allegedly pointing a gun at a driver on Interstate 10 south of Las Cruces.

Dona Ana County Sheriff’s officials say 24-year-old Joseph Klemish was taken into custody Tuesday on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

They say he’s being held without bond pending his arraignment.

It’s unclear if Klemish has a lawyer yet.

Sheriff’s officials say the victim called 911 about 8 a.m. Tuesday about a road-rage incident.

The man says Klemish was sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle and allegedly pointed a handgun at him as he was driving on the freeway.
