LOS ANGELES (AP) - A man fell into a narrow and deep hole in a downtown Los Angeles construction site, but he was rescued and is in fair condition.
City fire spokeswoman Margaret Stewart says the 25-year-old fell into a pylon-support hole Friday that is only about two feet wide and 30 feet deep.
He was able to communicate with firefighters as they brought him to the surface then took him to a hospital.
