HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Three kayakers have been rescued from the Flint River in Madison County.

WHNT-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2t1tT5N) that the teens told rescue workers they set out on the river around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. They called 911 around 11 p.m. saying they were lost on the Flint River.

Operators pinged the cell phone to locate the trio. It took about an hour to get the teens to land.
