COZAD, Neb. (AP) - Authorities say a wrong-way driver died after a collision on Interstate 80 at Cozad in south-central Nebraska.
The collision was reported around 1 a.m. Thursday. The Nebraska State Patrol says a car driven by 89-year-old Deloyce Robinson entered the westbound I-80 lanes and headed east. The car soon collided with a westbound pickup truck driven by 28-year-old Nicholas Yonce, of Garner, North Carolina.
The patrol says Robinson was killed. He lived in North Platte. Yonce was treated at a Cozad hospital for injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
