Attendees at this year’s NYC Pride March will be able to celebrate the event with “Gender Neutral” beer.
Brooklyn-based Threes Brewing plans on capitalizing on thirsty members of the LGBT community this month with the June 22 release of a new lager called “Gender Neutral.” The flavor will debut at a “Human Rights are Gender Neutral” party in celebration of the city’s Pride Week.
Pre-sale for the beer begins June 14.
“As we grow and are starting to get some attention, we think it’s incumbent upon us to use whatever platform we have to make a difference about issues we care deeply about,” co-founder Joshua Stylman told Patch on Wednesday.
Some of the many options (over 60) for beer aficionados include “Temporary Identity,” and “I hate myself,” Heat Street reported Thursday.
NYC Pride will be held on June 22 and broadcast live for the first time via New York’s local ABC affiliate.
