TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities have identified a man who was fatally stabbed in Tucson earlier this week in a case that’s being investigated as a homicide.

Tucson police say the victim was 40-year-old Marcus Andrew Tellez.

Officers responded to reports of a stabbing at an apartment complex about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday and found a man with obvious signs of trauma.

The victim was transported to a hospital, where he died of his injuries.

Police haven’t identified a suspect, but say it appears that the person or persons responsible were known to Tellez.
