Liberal man dies while working under a car

LIBERAL, Kan. (AP) - Police say a Liberal man died when the car he was working underneath rolled over him.

The High Plains Daily Leader (https://bit.ly/2r64yLw ) reports that Liberal Capt. Pat McClurg says the 62-year-old man died Tuesday in the northeast part of the city. The fire department used equipment to lift the car so the man could be removed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man’s name wasn’t immediately released, pending notification of his family.
