ANACONDA, Mont. (AP) - A motorist struck and killed a 77-year-old man crossing an Anaconda street during a heavy rainstorm.
The Montana Highway Patrol tells The Montana Standard (bit.ly/2rtaHjM) that the collision happened just before 2:30 a.m. Monday and the driver said the traffic light was green. The 37-year-old Florida man said he did not seen the pedestrian until he was a foot or two away and he was unable to swerve to miss him.
The victim is from Anaconda. His name has not been released.
The collision remains under investigation.
