PITTSBURGH (AP) - A Pittsburgh man who crashed the car he was driving into a home had been shot and has died of that wound.

The Allegheny County medical examiner says 23-year-old Shayne Abrams was wounded just before 3 a.m. Monday in the city’s Manchester neighborhood. The crash severed a natural gas line to the home, but there was no explosion or other injuries that resulted.

The medical examiner says Abrams died of a gunshot wound to the trunk.

Police did not immediately charge, arrest or name any suspect.
