OSSIPEE, N.H. (AP) - A Massachusetts woman has died in a crash in Ossipee, New Hampshire.
Police say 18-year-old Danielle Benedetto of Wakefield, Massachusetts, died when the car she was a passenger in went off Route 16, hit multiple trees and rolled over Friday morning.
The driver, 20-year-old Logan Tyler Dunn, also of Wakefield, Massachusetts, was airlifted to a Portland, Maine, hospital.
A passerby found the vehicle around 5:20 a.m. on Friday. It’s unknown exactly when the crash happened.
Police are investigating and say speed and alcohol may have been factors in the crash.
