Fort Collins firefighters find man dead in smoky apartment

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Firefighters have found the body of a man in a smoke-filled Fort Collins apartment.

The Fort Collins Coloradoan reports (https://noconow.co/2sEuZEt ) the body was found Saturday.

Authorities didn’t immediately release the man’s identity and cause of death.

Fire department spokeswoman Madeline Noblett says crews extinguished a fire on top of the stove. She says the man was dead when firefighters found him.
