JOLIET, Ill. (AP) - Autopsies are expected on the bodies of two women and an infant girl found in a Joliet house fire.
CBS Chicago reports (https://cbsloc.al/2s6Tc9S ) that the autopsies were to be performed Sunday.
Firefighters found the bodies on the second floor of a two-story home after responding about 2 a.m. Saturday to the blaze.
Joliet Fire Chief Greg Blaskey says they found the house engulfed in flames. A man who jumped from the second floor was not hurt. He told firefighters three people were still inside.
Blaskey and the Will County coroner’s office say the victims were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names haven’t been released.
The fire remains under investigation.
