ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - An autopsy has been ordered for a 52-year-old North Pole woman killed on a side-by-side all-terrain vehicle outside Fairbanks.
Alaska State Troopers say Louise Lynch died Sunday afternoon when a tree branch poked through the floor of the ATV and severely injured her.
Lynch was a passenger riding on a trail near Chatanika (chat-tan-EE-kah) Lodge off Mile 28.5 Steese Highway.
Emergency responders pronounced Lynch dead.
