DENVER (AP) - No charges will be filed against four officers who shot and killed a teenager who fired at them during a confrontation in the Denver suburb of Westminster.

The Denver Post reports https://goo.gl/vhS8aB 19-year-old Alexander Meltz was driving a stolen vehicle just before he was confronted by the auto-theft task force officers March 14. He fired two shots, and they returned fire, hitting him 11 times.

The officers who fired at the man included two Colorado State Patrol troopers, an officer from Wheat Ridge and an officer from Lakewood. They were not injured.



The gun Meltz fired also was stolen.
