IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) - Three juvenile girls accused of damaging more than 100 headstones in a southeast Idaho cemetery are facing charges.
Bonneville County Prosecutor Danny Clark tells the Post Register (https://bit.ly/2sV7JGa) in a story on Tuesday that each of the girls has been charged with felony malicious injury to property.
Idaho Falls spokeswoman Kerry Hammon says damage is estimated at $100,000 to 104 headstones and other property.
The damage occurred on May 7 at the Rose Hill Cemetery.
Clark says the publicity and outrage surrounding the vandalism made it appropriate to release information about the case involving juveniles.
