WASHINGTON (AP) - A streetcar rear-ended a bus in Washington, leaving 10 people with minor injuries.

D.C. Fire officials tweeted that 10 people aboard the bus were injured in the crash in northeast Washington on Friday morning. Officials say 10 people were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries in a medical ambulance bus.

The Washington Post reports (https://wapo.st/2qOJHrr ) that D.C. Fire spokesman Doug Buchanan says some complained of neck and back pain. He says the initial investigation showed the streetcar rear-ended the bus.



DC Streetcar tweets that service was suspended because of the crash.
