Pedestrian injured by train

TITUSVILLE, Fla. (AP) - A pedestrian was seriously injured by a train in Florida.

Florida Today (https://goo.gl/stB03M ) reports that the person was hit in Titusville early Wednesday morning, shortly after midnight.

Brevard County Fire Rescue responded within minutes and requested a medical helicopter to fly the person to a nearby trauma center.

The person’s name was not immediately released.
