ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - A Florida lawyer has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for illegally taking her clients’ money.
A federal judge on Tuesday sentenced 52-year-old Julie Kronhaus for wire and bank fraud. The attorney had pleaded guilty last January.
Prosecutors say Kronhaus was a trustee for her clients and held their money in various bank accounts. She diverted the money into her law firm’s accounts and used it for personal expenses.
