1 killed in Martin City house fire

MARTIN CITY, Mo. (AP) - Authorities say a person has been killed in a house fire in the Martin City area of southern Kansas City.

WDAF-TV (https://bit.ly/2sap4rW ) reports that the victim was found in a hallway after the fire was reported Tuesday afternoon.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The victim’s name wasn’t immediately released.
