CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) - Fire officials planned to talk to witnesses about the cause of a fire that threatened several buildings and burned livestock corrals as it swept across grassland in a southern Utah farm.

Cedar City police say there were no injuries to people or animals in the Monday afternoon fire that was fanned by high winds as it charred about 5 acres (2 hectares).

The Spectrum of St. George reports (https://bit.ly/2sYenZy ) that surrounding thoroughfares including sections of Coal Creek Road were blocked during firefighting operations.

Federal, state and Cedar City firefighters helped the suppression effort.
