BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Nurses at CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck are considering unionizing over operational changes they say are harming patient care.
Minnesota Nurses Association President Mary Turner tells The Bismarck Tribune (https://bit.ly/2su8u8I ) that the nurses recently contacted her seeking help.
The nurses worry that declining care standards are harming the hospital’s reputation.
The hospital has laid off about 120 employees over the last 1 ½ years but maintains its quality of care hasn’t suffered.
