LOS ANGELES (AP) - An autopsy is planned for a decomposed body found in Southern California’s Angeles National Forest.

Officials say a crew clearing brush Monday made the discovery near a winding stretch of State Route 2 about 15 miles north of downtown Los Angeles.

Coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter says the badly decomposed’ body is that of a male. He did not have information on the person’s possible age.
