HOUSTON (AP) - Houston authorities have a person in custody after a fatal house fire that may be the result of arson.
Fire department spokesman Ruy Lozano says firefighters responding to a blaze in a one-story home on the city’s northeast side late Saturday found an unresponsive man inside. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.
A woman who says she owned the house but lived elsewhere has told fire officials she doesn’t know who the victim might be.
