FOLLY BEACH, S.C. (AP) - The South Carolina Aquarium Sea Turtle Care Center has released seven rehabilitated sea turtles.
The Post and Courier reports (https://bit.ly/2shkXdb ) that Wednesday’s release at Folly Beach wasn’t the center’s all-time largest, but did represent its largest local release, with most of the turtles coming from South Carolina.
Crowds gathered to watch the release group make its way into the water. Some had been in rehabilitation for up to a year.
