DENVER (AP) - A Colorado man who strangled his 2-year-old cousin and stuffed his body in a plastic bin has been sentenced to life in prison.

The Denver Post reports https://goo.gl/O24OPp Roman Morales was sentenced after he was convicted Wednesday of first-degree murder in the September 2015 death of Donnie Romero.

The boy was found unconscious in a storage bin inside a suburban Denver apartment, and police say an electrical cord had been wrapped around his neck.



Morales’ relatives told police he had used meth in the past, and his mother said he had been talking about the FBI following him, drones and hearing Morse code.
