LANCASTER, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say they have charged a man with murder in the killing of two people outside of an apartment complex in South Carolina.
Lancaster Police Chief Thomas Grant said 24-year-old Demarcus Marsh was arrested Friday afternoon in Columbia.
Authorities say Marsh’s arrest came after the driver of the car involved in the June 29 shooting turned himself into police and was charged as an accessory after the fact of murder.
Grant said in a news release that along with two counts of murder. Marsh is also charged with attempted murder after a third person was wounded. It wasn’t known if he had a lawyer.
Grant hasn’t given a motive for the shooting.
