Brooklyn, New York-based Kelvin Slush Co. has launched its newest flavor, Frose, or “frozen rose.” Made from organic peach and strawberry juices, Frose is the sixth in a series of flavors from the company that also includes citrus, pina colada, margarita, ginger and tea.
Kelvin, which began as a food truck company in Brooklyn selling organic nonalcoholic slushies, soon realized the market potential of including alcoholic drinks to their customers.
“Our new Frosé organic cocktail mix has been a game-changer,” Kelvin Slush Co. co-founder Zack Silverman said in a statement. “Through May, our year over year sales are up more than 90 percent. We anticipate this will be our best year to date.”
The Kelvin Frose is served at such leading restaurants as New York’s Eataly, Chicago’s Soho House (Chicago), Malibu, California’s Malibu Farm and The Edition Hotel in Miami Beach.
