PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say a person is dead after crashing into a light pole along the metro area’s light rail system.
KNXV-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2vjA8qO ) the fatal car crash occurred early Sunday morning. Police believe the driver had been travelling on the light rail track before he hit a light pole. Police say the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash caused the light rail to be temporarily closed.
