WAUPACA, Wis. (AP) - Sheriff’s officials say the fatal shooting of a teenage boy in Waupaca County is an accident.
Investigators say 15-year-old Jacob Peglow, of Waupaca, was shot in the shoulder and chest area by a 17-year-old friend Wednesday in the Town of Farmington.
Authorities say the teens were playing with a .22 caliber gun, which they didn’t think was loaded. WLUK-TV (https://bit.ly/2v1LxLz ) reports Sheriff Brad Hardel says it was “kids being kids” and “just an unfortunate accident.”
