UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. (AP) - An elderly man is dead after his house caught fire in the St. Louis suburb of University City.
KMOV-TV reports that the fire broke out Thursday night. Firefighters found the 82-year-old man unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation but officials suspect it was an electrical issue.
The victim’s name has not been released.
