CHESAPEAKE, Va. (AP) - A natural gas leak in Virginia has sent seven people to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The city of Chesapeake said in a press release Wednesday that the leak sprang from a compressed natural gas pump. It’s located on city property where a public works operation is located.

The people who went to the hospital work for the city as trash collectors.
