SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - A Shreveport man faces up to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to a fifth drunk driving offense.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Shreveport says in a news release that Jesus Maldonado (HAY’-soos mahl-doh-NAHN’-doh) pleaded guilty Tuesday. It was the result of his April 13 arrest by a Barksdale Air Force Base security officer on a driving while intoxicated charge in northwestern Louisiana.
Previous convictions were for offenses in Bossier City in 2007; Los Angeles in 2009 and two offenses in 2013 in Shreveport.
Sentencing was set for Nov. 3.
