PIEDMONT, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say an Alabama man is dead after his vehicle crashed head-on with a dump truck.
Al.com reports the crash happened Monday on a highway a short distance west of Piedmont. Alabama State Troopers identified the victim as 32-year-old Ryan Michael Paris of Piedmont.
Senior Trooper Chuck Daniel said Paris was pronounced dead at the scene after the Chevy Blazer he was driving collided with the dump truck. The dump truck’s driver was taken to a hospital. It wasn’t immediately known how seriously the dump truck’s driver was injured.
