HARTLAND, N.Y. (AP) - Two people in upstate New York have died in a two-vehicle crash.

The crash happened in Hartland around 7 p.m. Sunday. Niagara County Sheriff Jim Voutour says a car didn’t yield and drove through a stop sign before being struck by a truck. Voutour says the truck had the right of way.

Police say the driver of the car and a passenger were killed. Authorities say a third person in the car was hospitalized and is listed in critical condition.



Voutour says the driver of the truck wasn’t injured.
