FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Authorities say emergency crews recovered a body from the Red River in Fargo.
Police tell KFGO (https://bit.ly/2tFez39 ) that a person walking along the river on Saturday night spotted the body and called authorities.
Crews pulled the body from the water near the Veterans Memorial Bridge. The body is being sent to Grand Forks for an autopsy.
Crews had been searching the river for 24-year-old Fanuel Asrat, who went missing while swimming in the river Thursday.
Authorities could not say if the body found was Asrat’s.
