KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) - The fire along Highway 97 that forced the evacuation of some homes and businesses in Klamath Falls is no longer a threat.
Fire spokeswoman Sarah Saarloos says the fire was being mopped up Wednesday afternoon. Residents have returned home and businesses reopened.
The fire likely caused by human activity scorched 27.6 acres. No structures were damaged.
