LIVINGSTON, N.Y. (AP) - State police say a 40-year-old man has died after a crash at a rural intersection in Columbia County in the Hudson Valley.

Police say a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier was heading east on County Route 31 about three miles south of Hudson around 7 a.m. Wednesday when it ran a stop sign at the intersection of State Route 9. It collided with a 2017 Hyundai, overturned and struck a parked car at a gas station.

Police say a 40-year-old Hudson resident was ejected from the Cavalier and pronounced dead at the scene. The Hyundai’s driver and passenger were taken to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are seeking witnesses to the collision.
