Nary a moment goes by without a breathless tale of “collusion” by President Trump and the Russians. Did the Russians “spike” our water supply or alter vote totals to cause the election of Donald Trump? Grassy knolls notwithstanding, how was the nefarious deed achieved?

They’re simple questions that must first be answered. Who did it, how was it done and just what is it that they did?

It looks to me as if the conspirators on the left and the right are both trying to find a rationale to explain Mr. Trump’s election. Shakespeare’s recounting of Julius Caesar’s counsel to Brutus is suitable here: “The fault dear Brutus, is not in our stars. But in ourselves, that we are underlings.” Or in modern day parlance: Take a deep breath and suck it up.
