GARNER, N.C. (AP) - North Carolina authorities are investigating a fatal stabbing at a hotel.
Local news outlets report 49-year-old Derrick Shaw of Garner died Sunday evening at a Raleigh hospital after being stabbed several times at an InTown Suites.
Witnesses told WRAL that Shaw had been living at the hotel.
Garner Police Capt. Joe Binns says one person at the scene was taken into custody, but no charges have been filed.
