LEVELOCK, Alaska (AP) - Alaska State Troopers are investigating the stabbing death of a 37-year-old man in the village of Levelock in southwest Alaska.

Ellis Lee Kaloke of Eagle River died Friday in the village on the Kvichak (KWEE-jak) River.

Troopers say an argument escalated into a physical confrontation and Kaloke was stabbed.



Troopers say alcohol was a factor in case.

Kaloke was dead when troopers reached the village Friday night.
