SNEAD, Ala. (AP) - A three-vehicle crash in Alabama has left one man dead.

AL.com reports 71-year-old Michael Carpick Jr. of Hoover was killed Friday afternoon when his car crashed into another car and a semi-truck.

Carpick was pronounced dead at the scene, on U.S. 278 at the intersection of Alabama 79, about 5 miles (8 kilometers) west of Snead. The drivers and occupants of the two other vehicles were not injured.



Alabama State Troopers are investigating.
