MIAMI (AP) - Skeletal remains were found by landscapers near a Miami-area nature trail.
The Miami Herald reports the human remains are possibly years old and were uncovered when workers were clearing invasive plants from a 22-acre nature preserve in Palmetto Bay last week. The remains were in several parts and authorities said only that it was an adult and didn’t identify a gender.
The park was closed for several hours as Miami-Dade police gathered the remains.
