School bus collides with minivan, no students injured

GIBSONTON, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a Tampa Bay area school bus collided with a minivan, but no students were injured.

A Hillsborough County School District spokeswoman told the Tampa Bay Times (https://goo.gl/YgG9Uh) that the bus was carrying four students from Gibsonton Elementary School when it crashed Wednesday afternoon.

Rescue officials say one person was taken to a nearby hospital, but the schools spokeswoman says neither the bus driver nor the students on the bus were hurt.

Details of the crash weren’t immediately released.
