Classical music and modern dance will collide this weekend as Red Bull Flying Bach comes to the Warner Theatre Friday and Saturday evening. A clash of artistries both antiquated and contemporary, the dance revue shows the California dance company performing modern routines as J.S. Bach’s “The Well-Tempered Clavier” plays behind them.

In the performance’s narrative, six dancers and a teacher are rehearsing for a big show, but then conflict arises and threatens their own turn on the stage. The dancers’ choreography is meant to mimic the various changing moods of Bach’s masterwork, with the company at one point even engaging in breakdancing routines.

Friday’s show begins at 8 p.m., with Saturday’s two performances at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets are available by going to LiveNation.com.
