LAGUNA BEACH, Calif. (AP) - An Orange County man known for jumping off landmarks in YouTube videos has been placed under investigation after reportedly injuring himself when jumping from a Laguna Beach hotel.
The Orange County Register reports (https://bit.ly/2hR0Q3V ) that 28-year-old Anthony Booth Armer was hospitalized after injuring his feet at the Pacific Edge Hotel.
Laguna Beach Police Sgt. Tim Kleise says police were notified of the incident Thursday when a hotel manager called about someone trespassing on the property.
In a YouTube video posted on Sunday, Armer is seen jumping off a rooftop and striking a concrete pool edge with his feet before falling in the water. The video has more than 1 million views on the video service.
Armer has started a GoFundMe page asking for help paying medical costs as a result of the fall.
