SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a 3-year-old girl has died after being struck by a car as her father dropped her off at a Syracuse daycare center.
Officials say the child’s father, an off-duty city firefighter, was hospitalized in stable condition after he and his daughter were struck Wednesday morning by another parent dropping a child off at the Eastwood Baptist Church daycare.
The parent driving the SUV that struck them was also taken to a hospital. Police say the SUV also struck two cars.
Names were not immediately released. Police are investigating the accident.
